1. What hours are the therapists available?
Our normal business hours are 8:00am 5:00pm. Several
therapists have times available after 5:00pm and before
8:00am.
2. What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept and file all major health insurance plans with
the exception of Medicaid and those insurance plans using
Magellan for management of outpatient behavioral health
services. Please call your insurance company before your
first appointment for authorizations and to determine
your deductible or payment portion. The clients
payment portion is due at the time of service. If you
do not know your portion, we will collect 50% of the fee
at the time of service and bill the balance to the client
or the responsible parent of the child receiving services.
3. Do you accept debit-credit or flex plan cards?
No, we do not. If you request, we will provide a receipt
for payment which you can then file with your flex plan
administrator.
4. What if I dont want to use my insurance?
Our fees are $140.00 for the first appointment, $120.00
for following appointments. Testing fees are $130.00/hour
and fees for career testing and consultation are $120.00/hour.
5. Do you file Medicare?
Yes. You are responsible for the portion of the fee not
covered by your insurance.
6. Is there someone there who prescribes medication?
No. We can refer you to a psychiatrist or primary care
physician when
medication is indicated.
7. How long do appointments last?
45-50 minutes
8. How much experience do your therapists have?
We have more than 175 years of experience collectively.
Feel free to ask your therapist about their experience
in working with individuals. We vary in age from the mid-20s
to the mid-50s. All of the therapists are licensed
in their professional disciplines.
9. How do I pick the right therapist?
All of our therapists are trained to work with general
psychological issues. Please refer to the bio section
for individual expertise.
10. What types or problems do you test for?
Learning and behavioral difficulties, ADHD, IQ, achievement
testing, psychological and personality evaluations, career
and vocational testing.
