Therapy for Children and Adolescents

Carolina Psychological Associates provides therapy services to children and adolescents in a warm and supportive setting.  Using a variety of techniques that include cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, psychodynamic, and eclectic therapy, we are able to meet our clients where they are and assist in a professional manner using best practices.  We do not provide therapy however, when it is court-ordered, involves custody and access issues, or may become litigious as this is beyond our scope of practice.  We would be happy to provide you with referrals to clinicians in the community who have specialized training in these areas of expertise if this is a service you are seeking or think may move in that direction.  Please feel free to call the office and speak to our friendly staff who can help you find the therapist who may be the best match for you.
